KanOkla is pleased to announce that we have formed a strategic partnership with Google that allows KanOkla to use their industry leading software and spam filtering techniques for your KanOkla email account. This is a very exciting change, as it will enable us to provide you with the latest email technology provided with Google’s dynamic suite of communication applications.

Here’s a quick rundown of the key features and benefits that will result from our Google partnership:

7 Gigabytes of Email Storage – For customers using webmail exclusively, that’s over a 50 fold increase of the current limit. As a result, you will be able to keep mail on the server longer. In addition, every email account will feature Google’s patented anti-spam technology. With the new Google software, you’ll continue to manage your “Spam” folder from your webmail account, but now every message moved in or out of the special “Spam” folder will trigger spam analysis throughout the entire mail system. Your new anti-spam profile is used throughout the system and doesn’t require having to check any other spam filtering website or desktop software.

Real-time Chat, Voice & Video Messaging – Communicate real time with your friends around the corner or around the world with the new robust instant messaging & voice chat capabilities.

Google Calendar - Schedule meetings, share calendars and communicate more effectively.

Google Docs - Create online documents and collaborate with others in real-time across the globe. Plus, if your documents are saved on the globally accessible system, you’ll be able to work on your data from anywhere – regardless of what programs are installed on the end computer.

Mobile Access - You will be able to access their information anywhere, anytime – including email access via mobile devices such as a Blackberry or cell phone. You will still be able to access your mail via traditional email programs as well as taking advantage of the intuitive web-based mail interface.

Reliability – Google's platform has an incredibly reliable, fast and robust email service, complete with anti-spam and anti-virus protection. This platform will be a good fit and provide end users with the same level of reliability that they have come to know with their KanOkla email account.

To ease the transition, you will continue to be able to access your mail from the legacy KanOkla mail servers for several weeks. This period of “dual delivery” will allow all customers ample time to make modifications to their system to access their account on the new mail platform.

Please remember that your email addresses will not change and we have worked very hard to make this change as seamless as possible. These changes will not impact any other aspect of your Internet connection – only your current KanOkla email account ending in the following domains – kanokla.net, wiredok.com, wiredks.com, kskc.net, and blackwellok.com.
